Africa, the Magic of Football

Fans from the four corners of Africa arrived in Bamako for the event of the 23rd Nations’ football championship.Their spirits heated by excitement and their eyes fixed on the black and white ball. Brazilian photographer Americo Mariano, captures moments from the lives of the football fans: their rituals, the frenzy and the magical atmosphere that prevails during such sports events.
