Baghdad, the Children of Al-Alhan

Mohamed is 20 years old and sleeps in the mosque. His house was completely destroyed by the bombardments. He finished his military service and knows how to wield weapons. Iman Hussein, the great Prelate of Baghdad, has asked him to organize the protection of the small Al-Alhan orphanage, one of only two places in Baghdad where children are accommodated in a culture where children are traditionally taken care of by their families. The institution’s management has all left; the street is left to pillagers.
