Sonmudo, School of a Buddhist Art 44 / 55

Visitors write down their wishes on these tiles and make money gifts. The tiles will be used to cover the roof of Imonjong-sa temple, which was built by Kwangyu. This temple was enlarged and renamed Ki Rim Sa under the reign of Sondok in the 12th century.

Des personnes de passage au temple ont inscrit leurs vœux sur chacune de ces tuiles, tout en faisant un don en argent. Ces dernières serviront ensuite a recouvrir le toit du temple de Imonjong-sa bâtit par Kwangyu. Ce temple fut agrandi et renommé Ki Rim Sa sous le régime de la reine Sondok au XIIème siècle.
